You Don't Need a Dream, You Need a Goal

"The people who are crazy enough to think that they can change the world, are the ones who do." - Steve Jobs

Anyone can conjure up a dream; it takes courage to turn it into a goal.

A dream is something you want to do or wish to achieve. A goal is something you step towards.

A dream requires wishful thinking. A goal requires getting your hands dirty.

A dream exists only in one's mind. A goal is concrete and measurable.

A dream is all or nothing. A goal can be achieved piece by piece.

A dream resides in the confines of your imagination. A goal is something you manifest in reality.

Goals require sacrifices. They leave you vulnerable to failure, criticism and self-doubt.

Dreamers don't always achieve their goals, but every person who achieves their goals was once a dreamer.

Goals are dreams with a checkbox beside them.

Your dream is simply a fantasy until it becomes a goal.

Write yours down, and don't stop until it's checked off.

“Someday” is a disease that will take your dreams to the grave with you. Pro and con lists are just as bad. If it’s important to you and you want to do it “eventually,” just do it and correct course along the way." - Tim Ferriss.
Every week, I write about philosophy, self-fulfilment and creativity.
